🔬 Research Notes

A new peer-reviewed paper in the Journal of Protective Coatings & Linings documents 15-year performance data on polyurea-lined potable water tanks, showing an average adhesion retention of 84% of original values at 15 years on properly prepared concrete. The authors note that tanks where surface preparation fell below SSPC-SP 10 showed significantly higher adhesion loss — reinforcing the findings from our surface preparation guide.
